Simulation helps teach realities of poverty in Midland

Nearly 60 people participated in role-playing exercises at an event Thursday to experience what it is like to live in poverty. The Center for Elimination of Disproportionality and Disparities (CEDD) – part of the Texas Health and Human Services Commission – provided materials for the hour-long poverty simulation and facilitated the subsequent debriefing session at Golf Course Road Church of Christ.
